Life is an adventure. Each moment we choose to either take the adventure or stay on the sidelines. In 2009 I embarked on a scary journey, reaching for the next rung, clinging to the sides of what felt like a petrifying slippery stonewall. “Don’t look down, keep your vision forward,” the voice within me kept saying. I continued with a faith that was unstoppable, knowing that the spirit was walking with me, supporting every move I made. At first, I did not pray or l listen. I had lots of pride because I thought I knew everything I needed to know. Then when I tumbled downward and knew I was on a free-fall beyond my control, I called for help… and the hand was there to assist me onward.
So today, as I live on the razors edge, embracing all that life brings me, I stand tall, knowing I am fully supported and all that comes before me is just another opportunity to see the presence of Spirit, to listen – God knows I’m listening – and I will take every leap of faith I must, if God chooses to use me. For I accept to be but a humble vessel for the unlimited power of the Universe.
